Horned Demon in Demon Slayer

Horned Demon, the Asakusa Attacker

Who is Horned Demon?

The Horned Demon presents an imposing figure, characterized by his robust and muscular stature, accentuated by prominent veins that traverse his skin. His black hair, which falls to his shoulders and parts in the center, frames his face and draws attention to the singular horn that crowns his forehead—a defining feature that gives him his name.

His eyes are a striking red, with vertical pupils that slant upwards, lending him a predatory gaze. His facial features are further marked by thick, protruding lips, adding to his menacing appearance.

In terms of attire, the Horned Demon dons traditional green hakama pants, which are paired with a simple brown vest. This choice of clothing complements his large build, allowing him the freedom of movement that his sizeable form demands.

Horned Demon’s Personality and Background

The Horned Demon exuded an air of arrogance and self-assurance, particularly evident during his encounter with Inosuke Hashibira. He boldly confronted Inosuke, taunting him with threats of consuming his flesh and mockingly praising his offensive efforts. This overconfidence, however, proved to be his Achilles’ heel, as he failed to properly assess Inosuke’s capabilities, leading to his own undoing.

Amidst the labyrinthine corridors of the Tsuzumi Mansion, the Horned Demon found himself embroiled in a dispute with Kyogai and the Tongue Demon. The bone of contention was the fate of Kiyoshi, a boy with Marechi blood whom Kyogai had intended to feast upon. In the heat of their argument, the Horned Demon succeeded in tearing off one of Kyogai’s tsuzumi drums, inadvertently enabling Kiyoshi to seize it and escape to safety. Following this incident, the trio of demons dispersed throughout the mansion, each intent on hunting down Kiyoshi for themselves.
