Who is Takaharu?
Takaharu, whose full name is Takaharu, is the grandson of the villager who taught Inosuke how to communicate.
He is a young man in his late teens to early twenties, sporting a shaved head, similar to Shigeru’s haircut. He accessorizes with a white rope headband in the style of a hachimaki and is notable for his distinctively large earlobes and long eyelashes.
In one chapter, Takaharu can be seen wearing loose, light-colored trousers underneath a dark kimono styled in the jinbei fashion. He is often seen carrying a medium-sized razor hoe.
Takaharu’s Personality and Background
Takaharu possesses an exceedingly rowdy personality and a penchant for using coarse language, a trait acquired from his upbringing. When he first crosses paths with Inosuke as a child, he startles him in a crude manner and mistakenly regards Inosuke as a peculiar creature, even disparaging his own grandfather for providing him with food.
In their subsequent encounters, Takaharu frequently reprimands his grandfather for continuing to care for Inosuke, all the while driven by his desire to safeguard his aging relative. However, when he discovers that Inosuke can actually communicate, fear sets in, and he labels him as a monster, eventually allowing Inosuke to do as he pleases in their home.
In terms of his history, there isn’t much information available except that Takaharu resides with his grandfather and holds down a daytime job.
